A Role Model

A role model is a person who you look up to. She doesn't know that she is my role model. 
Probably because I never show her how much she means to me. I’m not sure why this is the case, and it should probably change. She has been my best friend since forever. Ever since we were little we had fun together. She used to be closer with my brother, before he turned all mean and secretive. Thats when our relationship really got started.

 I was just a little girl when she used to be best friends with my brother. I was young, and I didn't know anything, therefore I was irrelevant. I tried to hang out with them, but they were so much older and always were playing tricks on me and laughing at my innocence. My brother and sister grew apart eventually, and he went to college. 

She started to spend more time with me. I was getting older, I knew more things, understood more of their jokes and didn't feel as left out. Since my brother was gone, my sister and I were in some ways forced to spend more time together, but I’m glad we were. She is now easily my best friend and we are never not having a good time and making new memories. She is who I look up to. Now she is in college, and I’m an only child. I haven’t found someone who is like her, and I probably won’t. Thats why she's my role model.
